The G Range
In order to improve the sailing characteristics of a solid hull pond yacht it is necessary to keep the weight of the yacht as low as possible by hollowing out the hull. Pond Yacht manufactures of the 50s-60s offered a De-luxe range which was basically their solid hull yachts hollowed out. Our G range has taken this one step further to offer a sporting free sailing yacht with outstanding sailing characteristics. Hulls are hollowed and carved from light weight Red Cedar and fitted with an aluminum fin and lead ballast. We have three sizes in the range 12in, 18in and 22in, all built to order and come with the option of traditional Cotton sails or modern sown Dacron sails.
